Diedrich Drill, Inc. Standard Solid Flight Augers
The continuous flight augers sold by Environmental
Drilling Supply & Service, Inc.are in keeping with the high standards of
quality set by Diedrich Drill, Inc. for all products we sell.
The augers are made of 4130 cold drawn, stress relief
annealed steel tubing to assure high quality and maximum strength. This same high quality
is assured in the manufacturing process through the use of an automatic inert gas arc
welding process. The use of 4130 carbon steel for the shaft provides a product of minimum
weight and maximum strength and rigidity. Abrasion resistant flights are formed with a
slightly tapered concave surface designed to throw soil toward the shaft, minimizing
clogging and auger drag.
